Process

The potter's wheel is my main tool but I also hand build. I love throwing individual pieces and and combining with hand built elements especially to add texture. On the bisque ware, I use a variety of glazing methods to finish the piece. Wax resist is my go-to for isolating areas to allow for colorful glaze design. The work is fired a second time to 2232° f.
